Speaker, I move without notice:
That the House -
1) notes with sadness the unexpected death of SABC 2's Morning Live presenter, Vuyo Mbuli, on Saturday, 18 May 2013, while enjoying a Cheetah's rugby match in Bloemfontein with his son;
2) recognises Vuyo Mbuli's contribution to journalism and broadcasting in South Africa for more than 20 years on Morning Live and SAFM;
3) further notes that Vuyo Mbuli became a part of every South African family, coming into our homes every morning Vuyo brought with him a little cheer each day;
4) acknowledges Vuyo Mbuli's vibrant personality, his love for life, his dedication to not only his job, but to South Africa as a whole, bridging divides and bringing people together through multi- linguism, a joke, a chuckle and a glint in the eye;
5) extends its heartfelt condolences to Vuyo Mbuli's family, his friends and colleagues, the SABC and the people of South Africa; and
6) wishes that Vuyo Mbuli rests in peace, Robala ka khotso, Rus in vrede, Lala kahle, and "Mentiro e ya bola bola, Sharp Sharp!" Agreed to.
