REPLY:
1) Information about the litigation cases brought against the Department
in each province is not complete. I have as a result of this
established a National Task Team. This Task Team is working with
provinces to collect this information. However, its focus is confined
to medico-legal cases.
2) The Task Team is reviewing the underlying factors contributing to
litigation cases and preventative measures that can be introduced.
3) This information is not available and will be provided once the Task
Team has completed its work.
END.
