(1) (a) How many business licences have been issued by the Business Licencing Department of the Ugu District Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal over the past three financial years, (b) how many business licences are still pending finalisation, (c) how long on average does it take for that municipality to licence a business, (d) on what legislation or regulations does the municipality rely when deciding on granting or denying a business licence, (e) how many business licences have been denied in the past three financial years and (f) why have these licences been denied; (2) what strategic framework does his department have in place to contribute towards job creation and small business development (a) nationally, (b) in KwaZulu-Natal and (c) in the Ugu District Municipality?
