Cheryllyn Dudley took office as an ACDP member of the National Assembly in Parliament in June 1999. She was the ACDP Parliamentary Whip since September 2005 and was elected Chief Whip of smaller political parties during the 3rd and 5th democratic parliaments. She completed her LLB law studies through UNISA. Prior to 1999 she served within the party structures at Branch, Regional, Provincial and National levels for 6 years before taking office in Parliament.
