. The union was concerned with some lecturers that were employed on contract basis for a long period and this made it very difficult for them to secure credit from financial institutions. . The student lecturer ratio of the college remained a serious concern. The NC(V) lecturers were overloaded with teaching and NC(V) administration work.. . The college required more facilities owing to the increase in student numbers. The classrooms were too small for the number of students registered by the college. . Leaking of Nated programmes papers remained a serious concern. Outstanding results of students from the Department made it difficult for students to register for new courses or seek for employment. Late delivery of (ISAT) and delays in the distribution of changes to the curriculum affected lecturer performance.
