Community Police Forum (CPF): There is a good relationship between the CPF and the station. Meetings were well attended by the community but executive meetings were not as well attended. The last Annual General Meeting was in 2007. In terms of gender, the CPF was well represented but some work needed to be done in order for other structures to be represented (Youth, Business and Transport etc.). Key complaints of the community included poor service at the CSC, lack of detail with regard to complaints and that feedback from the station was sometimes lacking. The CPF was concerned that patrollers who were accompanying police officers were unarmed and they needed to be better equipped. They recommended that the schools which were vandalised, even though they were guarded by private security, should be patrolled by the patrollers and a stipend paid to them for these duties.
