I have been advised by the SABC as follows:-
1) The GCEO did not resign, but it was an agreed separation. In terms of
governance processes of the SABC, the Board has to deliberate on the
appointments, separations or resignations of the GCEO, Chief Operating
Officer and Chief Financial Officer prior to informing the Minister of
the Communications to obtain his confirmation/approval.
2) (a) The date was 29 January 2014.
(b) The time was 10:00.
(c) Three hours.
(3 (a) The only item on the agenda was the GCEOâs separation from the SABC.
(b) The following Board Members were present:
Ms. Z E Tshabalala,
Prof. M O Maguvhe,
Ms. R Kalidas,
